Ivan Perisic replies when asked about Man United transfer speculation
The Croatia and Inter Milan winger insists his future lies at the San Siro despite Man United interest
Manchester United target Ivan Perisic has ruled out leaving Inter Milan this summer.
The Croatia international has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the current transfer market after his impressive performances at the World Cup this summer.
Perisic scored in Croatia’s 4-2 loss to France in the World Cup final in Russia last weekend but the winger and his team-mates returned to their country as heroes following their incredible run.
Manchester United were linked with a move to sign Perisic last summer but the Red Devils were unable to strike a deal with Inter Milan and Perisic.
The Red Devils are rumoured to have retained an interest in the Croatia star as Jose Mourinho looks to add genuine pace to the Manchester United right wing.
However, Perisic has no intention of leaving Inter Milan this summer to leave Manchester United facing the possibility of missing out on one of their top targets in consecutive summers.
“So far I have thought of Croatia. Now I will rest, I will return to focus on Inter,” Perisic said, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
Perisic has scored 29 times in 107 league games over the past three seasons at Serie A giants Inter Milan.
The Croatian winger has previously played for Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg and Club Brugge.
Manchester United have signed Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred and FC Porto defender Diogo Dalot in the summer transfer window so far.
