Iker Casillas sends message to Liverpool FC supporters about Loris Karius

Iker Casillas has urged Liverpool FC supporters to stop attacking Loris Karius.
The Germany Under-21 international has endured relentless criticism and derision following his performance in the Champions League final in Kiev at the end of the 2017-18 season.
Karius made two big mistakes in Liverpool FC’s 3-1 loss to Casillas’ former team Real Madrid in the Champions League showpiece to raise questions about his future in the team.
The 25-year-old has already made a handful of mistakes in pre-season to infuriate Liverpool FC supporters in light of Jurgen Klopp’s insistence that Karius would remain first choice.
However, Liverpool FC signed Brazil number one Alisson Becker in a world record £67m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma last week to finally improve a problem area in the team.
Alisson’s arrival has naturally eased the concerns of Liverpool FC supporters but Karius has still been subjected to criticism on social media.
FC Porto shot stopper Casillas, who faced Karius in the Champions League round of 16, has urged Liverpool FC supporters to get behind the German goalkeeper.
“This attack on Loris Karius will ever end?” Casillas wrote on Twitter.
“I talk about him like so many other goalkeepers.
“There are many more serious problems in the world f**k! Leave the kid alone! He is also a person. As we all are!”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League next season.
