Alisson Becker has promised Liverpool FC supporters that he will give his all to the Reds after having signed for the Merseyside outfit this week.

The Brazilian goalkeeper moved to Anfield from AS Roma on Thursday night as Jurgen Klopp moved quickly to bolster his options between the posts ahead of next season.

Alisson will be hoping to help shore up Liverpool FC’s defence next season as the Reds look to try and challenge for the Premier League title next season.

The Reds ended up in fourth place in the Premier League and without a trophy last season after they missed out on Champions League glory following their defeat by Real Madrid in the final.

Alisson is expected to slot in immediately as Liverpool FC’s new number one goalkeeper next season ahead of Loris Karius.

And the 25-year-old has promised fans that he will give everything he has to help Liverpool FC challenge for the major trophies in the coming seasons.

Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website, Alisson said: “My message to everyone is that I’m really happy to be part of this team and this family.

“I’m the type of guy that always wants to succeed in life. I came from nothing and I’ve arrived at this moment in my career.

“Thank God, together with my family and the people who work with me. Rest assured, I’ll give everything on the pitch. I’ll bring them a lot of joy. I hope for their support and I hope to meet their expectations of me.”

Liverpool FC will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season as they look for their first trophy under Klopp since his appointment back in 2015.
