The Daily Mail is reporting that the Reds have made a £62m bid for the shot-stopper as they look to bring in reinforcements between the posts ahead of next season.
Liverpool FC have been heavily linked with a number of goalkeepers this summer after Loris Karius’ nightmare in the Champions League final against Real Madrid back in May.
The same report says that Chelsea FC are also keen on a move to sign Alisson this summer but Liverpool FC have made the first move to bring the goalkeeper to Anfield.
According to the same story, Liverpool FC’s bid is worth £53mm with a subsequent £9m in add-ons.
Liverpool FC have already been busy in this summer transfer window, bringing in Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri ahead of the new campaign.
Jurgen Klopp will be keen to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season after the Reds finished in fourth place and without a trophy last term.
The Reds are still looking to win their first piece of silverware since Klopp’s appointment at Anfield back in 2015.
