Igor Biscan is convinced that Liverpool FC will be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title next season.

The Reds have been gradually improving under Jurgen Klopp following the German’s appointment at Anfield back in the autumn of 2015.

Liverpool FC were in generally good form last term as they secured a top-four finish in the Premier League to book their place in the Champions League for next season.

The Merseyside outfit also earned plenty of praise for their fine displays as they reached the Champions League final, before they were beaten 3-1 by Real Madrid in the showpiece back in May.

Klopp will now be hoping to steer Liverpool FC to a genuine title challenge next season as the Reds look to win their first trophy under the German manager.

And former Liverpool FC star Biscan is convinced that the Reds will be among the main contenders for the title next season under Klopp.

Speaking in an interview with Betstars, Biscan said: “Of course they can challenge for the Premier League this season.

“They proved last season they can beat the top teams when they played against Manchester City.

“It showed they can play at the top level but also that they need to work on their consistency which is one of the most difficult things to do, but now they know they can do it, they can be more consistent next year.”

Liverpool FC have already brought in Brazilian midfielder Fabinho in the summer transfer window and they are likely to be on the lookout for a number of other signings ahead of next season.
