Liverpool FC will not make a move to sign Domagoj Vida or any other centre-half this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Liverpool Echo is reporting that the Reds are not planning on making a move to bring in reinforcements at the back ahead of next season despite Joel Matip’s recent injury set-back.
Liverpool FC have been strongly linked with a move to sign Croatia star Vida in the last few weeks as the transfer window reaches its conclusion.
However, the same report now says that the Reds have no intention of bringing in Vida or any other defender as Klopp looks to ready his squad ahead of next season.
According to the same article, Klopp is not concerned about Liverpool FC’s defensive options ahead of next season and will not look to bring in a new man at the back.
Liverpool FC will be looking to try and challenge for the Premier League title next season after the Reds finished in fourth place last term and without a trophy.
Klopp earned plenty of praise as Liverpool FC reached the Champions League final last term, only for the Reds to lose to Real Madrid back in May.
