Fabinho has taken to social media to reveal his delight at making his Liverpool FC debut in a pre-season friendly over the weekend.

The Brazilian midfielder has been settling into life at Anfield after having signed for the Reds from Monaco in the summer transfer window.

The midfielder will be hoping to help Liverpool FC to challenge for the Premier League title next season as they look to mount a serious title challenge in search of their first major trophy under Jurgen Klopp.

Fabinho made his first start for his new club when he helped the Reds to claim a thumping 7-0 over Chester in their first pre-season game over the weekend.

Fellow new arrival Naby Keita also featured for the Reds when he came on in the second half.

And Fabinho was clearly delighted to play his part in helping the Reds claim a victory in their first pre-season game on Saturday.

Fabinho posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “First match as a red. Nice start!”

Liverpool FC are still thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they bid to build a squad capable of challenging for the title next season.
