Liverpool FC are looking to wrap up a deal to sign Dutch wonderkid Jana Hoever, according to reports in the British media.
The Liverpool Echo is reporting that the Reds are keen on a move to bring the 16-year-old defender to Anfield this summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to continue adding to his squad.
The same report says that the Ajax teenager has caught the eye of Reds scouts with his fine performances in his native homeland, and that the Merseyside outfit are now lining up a bid to try and sign him.
Liverpool FC are thought to be closing in on a deal for the young defender, who played 13 times and scored two goals in the Under-17 Eredivisie last season.
The Reds have already made one signing this summer after having brought in Brazilian midfielder Fabinho from Monaco at the start of the window.
The Merseyside outfit have also welcomed Guinea midfielder Naby Keita to Anfield this summer after the deal to bring him to the Merseyside club from German side RB Leipzig was confirmed last summer.
Klopp will be hoping for his Liverpool FC side to challenge for the Premier League title next season after they finished fourth and without a trophy last term.
