Jurgen Klopp believes that Naby Keita has already showed that he can quickly adapt to Liverpool FC’s playing style.

The Guinea international has finally linked up with his new team-mates at Anfield after a deal was agreed for him to move to the Merseyside outfit from RB Leipzig.

Keita made his debut for Liverpool FC when he came on as a substitute in the Reds’ 5-0 thrashing of Chester in their pre-season friendly on Saturday.

And Klopp was delighted with how Keita already looks to have understood what he asks from his players, because RB Leipzig play a similar style of football.

Klopp was quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo after the game: “It’s all good. You saw Naby comes from Leipzig and knows the football philosophy that’s a similar one.”

“He’s very sharp in the challenges, very quick in mind in these situations of counter-pressing, his impulses look kind of natural, which is good.:

Meanwhile, Liverpool FC are thought to still be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as the Reds look to assemble a squad ready to challenge for the title next season.

The Reds finished in fourth place in the Premier League last season and without a trophy after they ended up losing to Real Madrid in the Champions League final back in May.

Liverpool FC have also signed Fabinho from Monaco this summer as Klopp moved quickly to bolster his midfield options at Anfield.
