Mo Salah looks in high spirits after having linked up with his Liverpool FC team-mates in pre-season training

Mohamed Salah looked to be in good spirits after having linked up with his Liverpool FC team-mates for pre-season training last week.

The Egypt international was given an extended summer holiday after having featured at this summer’s World Cup in Russia.

However, Salah’s team were knocked out at the group stage and the attacker has now reported back to Liverpool FC to begin his preparations for the new campaign.

Salah was all smiles alongside Sadio Mane in Melwood on Friday as the Reds continue their preparations for the new season.

The 26-year-old was one of European football’s top performing players last season as he helped the Merseyside outfit to challenge for the Champions League title last term.

Salah scored 44 goals in all competitions as Liverpool FC reached the Champions League final but ended up losing to Real Madrid.

The Merseyside outfit also finished in fourth place in the Premier League table as they secured their spot in the Champions League for next season.

Meanwhile, Liverpool FC completed their latest summer signing on Thursday night by tying up a deal to bring goalkeeper Alisson to Anfield from AS Roma.

The Reds will be aiming to at least challenge for the Premier League title next season.
