Alisson’s arrival has cast doubt on Karius’ future at Liverpool FC ahead of the new Premier League season.
Karius revealed that Liverpool FC didn’t inform the German that Alisson was set to arrive at the Merseyside outfit this summer.
“Of course that’s not perfect for me, but I cannot say much more about that either,” Karius told the British media in United States.
“I do not know that, I cannot say what I’m doing right now, there’s still some time left [in the transfer window].”
Jurgen Klopp signed Karius in a £4.7m deal from the German coach’s former club Mainz 05 in the 2016 summer transfer window.
The Reds finished in fourth place in the Premier League last term to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
