Fabinho will try to persuade Kylian Mbappe to move to Liverpool FC
The new Liverpool FC signing is hoping to convince Kylian Mbappe to follow him to Anfield in the near future
Fabinho has admitted he is going to try to conince Kylian Mbappe to move to Liverpool FC.
The Brazil international completed a move to Liverpool FC from AS Monaco at the start of the summer transfer window.
Fabinho cost the Reds a transfer fee in the region of £39m as Jurgen Klopp managed to improve his options in the middle of the park.
The versatile South American forward wasn’t part of Brazil’s squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
However, his former AS Monaco team-mate Mbappe fired France to glory thanks to a 4-2 win over Croatia in the World Cup final.
Fabinho and Mbappe were part of AS Monaco’s team that won the Ligue 1 tite ahead of Paris Saint-Germain in the 2016-17 season.
However, the teenager completed a lucrative move to PSG from AS Monaco last summer to make him the second most expensive player in the world.
Nevertheless, Fabinho is still planning to convince Mbappe to move to Liverpool FC.
“He has already said for the next season he will remain at PSG,” Fabinho is quoted as saying by Liverpool Echo. “But I will try slowly to convince him to come to Liverpool!”
Liverpool FC have been very active in the summer transfer window following the additions of Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker.
The Reds finished in fourth place in the Champions League last season to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
