Liverpool FC could make a late bid to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland in the summer transfer window, according to Dharmesh Sheth.
The Reds have been linked with a move to sign a shot stopper regularly over the past 12 months.
Both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius have failed to convince that they are the long-term solution in goal for the Merseyside outfit.
Karius started in the Champions League final last month following an impressive second half of the 2017-18 season.
The German shot stopper made two mistakes in a 3-1 loss to Spanish giants Real Madrid in the Champions League showpiece.
Liverpool FC have been linked with a move to sign AS Roma’s Brazil international Alisson Becker in recent months.
The Reds could also target Stoke City shot stopper Jack Butland following the Potters’ relegation to the Championship.
Sky Sports News reporter Sheth suggested that the Reds could make a last gasp bid to sign the England international.
“I think there will be something late in the window with Jack Butland,” Sheth told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“Whether it could be Liverpool or another club.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in successive seasons under former Borussia Dormtund head coach Jurgen Klopp.
