Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp has his heart set on a move to sign Alisson Becker this summer, according to a report in England.

Website Goal.com, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Reds boss wants to sign the Brazil international to improve his options in goal ahead of the new season.

The same article states that the Liverpool FC boss has made the AS Roma his number one target despite conflicting reports in recent days suggesting that Klopp would stick with Loris Karius.

According to the same story, the Merseyside outfit have no interest in a deal to sign FC Barcelona number two Jasper Cillessen in the current transfer market.

The report goes on to say that Liverpool FC won’t be signing Burnley’s England international Nick Pope or Lazio’s Albanian shot stopper Thomas Strakosha.

Liverpool FC will face competition for Alisson signature’s from Premier League rivals Chelsea FC and La Liga giants Real Madrid, according to Goal.com.

The Reds are in the market to sign a new shot stopper following Loris Karius’ poor performance in the Champions League final.

The former Germany Under-21 international made two big mistakes in Liverpool FC’s 3-1 loss to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
