Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool FC to sign a striker to ease the workload on Roberto Firmino, according to a report in England.

The Liverpool Echo, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Reds boss wants to ease pressure on the Brazil international ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

The same article states that Klopp is eager to bring in an additional forward to ensure Firmino doesn’t burn out following his participation in the World Cup this summer.

According to the same story, the charismatic German head coach has concerns and doubts about Liverpool FC trio Danny Ings, Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Former Chelsea FC striker Dominic Solanke is also tipped to link up with Steven Gerrard at Rangers on loan for the new SPL campaign to gain first-team experience.

Liverpool FC started the summer spending with the addition of Brazil interantional Fabinho in a £39m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco earlier this month.

The Reds finally brought Naby Keita to Merseyside after Liverpool FC agreed a £48m deal with Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig in the 2017 summer transfer window.

Xherdan Shaqiri became their third summer signing following his £13.5m switch from Stoke.
