Liverpool FC have reopened talks with Lyon to sign Nabil Fekir, according to reports
Liverpool FC have reopened talks to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Merseyside outfit are out to try and sign the 24-year-old after their deal to land the France international fell through last month.
Liverpool FC were thought to be on the verge of signing Fekir last month, only for the proposed transfer to fall through at the final hour.
Now though, it is being reported that the Reds have resumed talks with Lyon to try and bring Fekir to Anfield this summer.
The same story says that negotiations between the two clubs resumed in the last few days and Liverpool FC are growing confident that they will be able to conclude a deal before the start of the new season.
The article claims that Liverpool FC are attempting to insert a number of clauses into the proposed transfer contract with regards to potential injury concerns about a knee problem.
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC have only confirmed one official signing so far this summer after having tied up a deal to bring Brazilian midfielder Fabinho to the club from Monaco last month.
