Liverpool FC willing to spend £80m on Argentina striker – report
Liverpool FC are prepared to spend £80m on Argentina and Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, according to a report
Liverpool FC are prepared to match Juventus’ £80m asking price for Paulo Dybala, according to a report in Argentina.
Argentinian outlet Futbol Mercado, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Reds are prepared to meet Juve’s lavish demands.
The same article states that Liverpool FC would have no problem coughing up a club-record £80m (€90m) fee for the South American forward this summer.
According to the Daily Express, Dybala follows Futbol Mercado on Twitter to suggest that the Argentinian media outlet may have some inside knowledge of the situation.
Juventus are looking to complete a deal to sign Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid in a sensational deal this summer.
If Ronaldo does finalise a switch to Serie A, Dybala or Gonzalo Higuain could be sold to fund a move for one of the world’s best players.
Liverpool FC have already signed Brazil international Fabinho in a £39m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in the summer transfer window.
The Reds have also added Guinea international Naby Keita to their squad after Liverpool FC reached a £48m agreement with RB Leipzig last summer.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season.
