Gareth Bale has admitted that he is still deciding about his future at Real Madrid beyond the summer transfer window.

The Wales international’s situation has been a constant source of speculation in recent weeks after he admitted that he is considering his future this summer in the wake of Real Madrid’s Champions League final win over Liverpool FC.

Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move to try and bring the 28-year-old back to the Premier League this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his squad ahead of next season.

There has not yet been any official announcement about Bale’s future beyond the summer, and the player himself has now admitted that he is still considering his options ahead of next season.

Speaking in an interview with Spanish radio station Cope, Bale said: “Maybe I’ll stay at Madrid, maybe not. I have to talk to my agent.

“I need more minutes. It frustrated me not to be a starter in the Champions League final.”

Manchester United are still believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

The Red Devils finished in second place in the Premier League table but without a trophy last season as they ended up 19 points behind champions Manchester City.
