Manchester United are in talks to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan this summer, according to reports in the French media.

French outlet Paris United, as quoted by The Sun, is reporting that the Red Devils are in talks to secure a deal to sign the Inter Milan winger this summer after having been heavily linked with a move to land him last summer.

The same report says that Manchester United are in “advanced talks” to sign Perisic this summer as they look to beef up their attacking options ahead of next season.

According to the same story, Perisic’s representatives are due to travel to Manchester to iron out the details of the 29-year-old’s move to Old Trafford.

Perisic played a key role in helping Croatia to knock England out of the World Cup on Wednesday night when he netted the equaliser for his country in their 2-1 win over the Three Lions.

Manchester United are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they bid to try and build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

The Red Devils finished in second place and without a trophy last season under Jose Mourinho in his second campaign in charge.
