Romelu Lukaku is backing Marcus Rashford to discover his top form for club and country over the next few years.
The Manchester United striker has been earning plenty of praise for his performances since breaking into the first team at Old Trafford a few seasons ago.
Rashford helped Manchester United to finish in second place in the Premier League table under Jose Mourinho last term, although the striker found his first-team opportunities to be somewhat limited last season.
However, the 20-year-old was called up to the England squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia and has been in fine form whenever called upon by Gareth Southgate.
And Manchester United striker Lukaku believes that Rashford is set to hit top gear for the Red Devils in the coming seasons.
Lukaku is quoted as saying by Metro: “Of course, Marcus is already a top player.
“He is basically my working partner at United. We do everything together and I try to help him as much as I can.
“He has a lot of qualities and, for me, he is maybe the most complete No. 9. He can do everything.
“And, in the next two or three years, you will see the best from Marcus. I just try to help him in this process and, hopefully, we can achieve great things together for United.”
Manchester United will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season after the Red Devils finished in second place and without a trophy last term.
The Red Devils have not won the Premier League since their famous final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2012-13, but they did win both the Europa League and League Cup in Mourinho’s first campaign in charge.
