Manchester United are set to make an official bid to sign Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham Hotspur in the coming days, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is reporting that the Red Devils are now set to ramp up their interest in landing the 29-year-old this summer after Belgium’s World Cup exit at the hands of France.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move to bring the Belgium international to Old Trafford this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to add some experience to his back-line ahead of next season.
The same report says that the Red Devils are now ready to make their offer to sign Alderweireld this summer after having identified him as their top target for this summer.
It is claimed that Manchester United are getting ready to table an official offer for the defender this week as they look to try and secure the signing of Alderweireld ahead of next season.
Meanwhile, Manchester United will be looking to try and win the Premier League title in Jose Mourinho’s third campaign in charge.
