Manchester United are finding it difficult to complete a deal to sign Juventus defender Alex Sandro, according to a report in England.
Manchester Evening News, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Red Devils are interested in a deal to sign the Brazil international in the current transfer window.
The same article states that Manchester United are finding it very difficult to negotiate a deal with the Serie A champions to sign the South American full-back.
According to the same story, Manchester United could use Matteo Darmian to help secure a deal for the 26-year-old Brazilian left-back.
However, the report suggests that Manchester United could be left disappointing with Sandro closer to signing a new deal at Juventus than a move to Old Trafford.
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last season after the Red Devils ended up 19 points adrift of champions Manchester City.
