Anthony Martial will remain at Manchester United despite being linked with a summer exit, Sky Sports News reporter Peter Graves.

The France international moved to the Red Devils in a £36m deal from Ligue 1 side Lyon in the 2015 summer transfer window.

Martial flourished in his first season at Old Trafford under Louis van Gaal after he scored 19 times in all competitions.

However, the 22-year-old has struggled since Jose Mourinho replaced the Dutch head coach in the Old Trafford hot seat.

The Manchester United forward has been unable to hold down a regular starting spot since Mourinho took over the reins.

Martial’s lack of first-team minutes and inconsistent performances resulted in the Frenchman missing out on a spot in the World Cup.

Sky Sports News reporter Graves believes Martial will stay at Manchester United despite speculation surrounding his future.

“I think Martial will stay at Man United,” Graves told the Transfer Talk podcast. “He is a really good player and Mourinho will see that in him somewhere.”

Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last term to secure their best finish since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.

The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May following Eden Hazard’s winner.
