The France international, who was omitted from their World Cup squad for Russia 2018, has been linked with a potential move in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho hasn’t been afraid to criticise Martial in the British media despite the 22-year-old’s impressive first season at Old Trafford.
Indeed, Martial scored 19 times in all competitions, including a goal on his debut in a 3-1 win over bitter rivals Liverpool FC, to thrive under Mourinho’s predecessor Louis van Gaal.
Martial has been linked with a potential return to Ligue 1 with champions Paris Saint-Germain in the current transfer market amid uncertainty surrounding Kylian Mbappe’s future at Parc des Princes.
Manchester United’s Premier League rivals Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur are also rumoured to be interested in Martial.
Sky Sports News reporter Sheth believes Martial’s situation at Manchester United is far from certain.
“His agent has said he wants to leave,” Sheth told the Transfer Talk podcast. “Man United are saying he will stay. He is one to look out for.”
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last season to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
The Red Devils have signed Brazil international Fred and Portuguese full-back Diogo Dalot in the summer transfer window so far.
