Manchester United are looking to offload Netherlands international Daley Blind in a £4.7m deal to Dutch giants Ajax this summer, according to a report in England.
The Sun is reporting that the Red Devils are looking to raise transfer funds with the sale of Blind to Dutch club Ajax in the current transfer market.
The same article states that the 20-time English champions could get Blind’s £90,000-a-week contract of the wage bill if Manchester United mange to successfully sell the versatile defender.
According to the same story, the Red Devils are also looking to sell Italy international Matteo Darmian after the full-back was deemed surplus to requirements at the Old Trafford side.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May following Eden Hazard’s winner.
Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last season to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
The Red Devils have signed Brazil international Fred and Portuguese full-back Diogo Dalot in the summer transfer window so far.
Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge of the three-time European champions.
