Manchester United are keeping a close eye on teenage Molde striker Erling Haaland with a view to a summer transfer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils are pondering a move to try and bring the 17-year-old to Old Trafford this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to further strengthen his squad ahead of next season.
The same report says that the teenage forward has impressed Manchester United scouts recently with his performances and that the Red Devils are continuing to keep tabs on him.
The same report says that Haaland scored four goals against Bergen last week under the watchful eye of Manchester United representatives.
The story also claims that Manchester United are just one of a handful of clubs interested in signing Haaland following his sparkling displays recently.
Haaland is the teenage son of former Manchester City and Leeds United midfielder Alf-Inge Haaland.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have so far made three signings this summer after having concluded deals for Diogo Dalot, Fred and Lee Grant.
The Red Devils are looking to build a squad at least capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season after they finished in second place and without a trophy in Mourinho’s second campaign in charge last term.
