Manchester United have made a move to try and sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon this summer, according to reports in the French media.
French outlet Le Progres, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Red Devils have offered the 24-year-old attacker a deal to join them this summer.
Fekir was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool FC earlier in the summer transfer window but it is now being claimed that Fekir also has a deal on the table to move to Old Trafford after the World Cup.
The France international was thought to be close to sealing a move to Anfield last month but the proposed deal fell through at the final hour.
It is now being suggested that Fekir could end up moving to Manchester United this summer as the Red Devils look for reinforcements.
The same report says that Manchester United’s bid to sign Fekir this summer is the latest in a long line of offers for the French attacker.
Meanwhile, Manchester United secured the future of Marouane Fellaini last week after the Belgian midfielder agreed to sign a new deal until 2020, with the option of a further year.
