Manchester United are considering a deals to sign Ismalia Sarr and Allain Saint-Maxmine, according to reporter Duncan Castles.

The Red Devils have been left frustrated in their pursuit of a winger in the summer transfer window so far.

Manchester United were thought to be monitoring Wales international Gareth Bale but the 28-year-old appears set to remain at Real Madrid.

The 20-time English champions have also been linked with a renewed bid to sign Croatia and Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.

Willian is another target for Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, who worked with the Brazilian at Chelsea FC.

The Red Devils look to be priced out of deals for both Perisic and Willian to leave Mourinho short on options on the wing.

Sunday Times reporter Castles believes Sarr and Saint-Maxmine could be alternative targets for Mourinho to improve their options out wide.

“He is going to the second tier of talents,” Castles told the Transfer Window podcast.

“Players under consideration are Ismalia Sarr and Allan Saint-Maxmine.”

Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table but ended up 19 points adrift of champions Manchester City.

The Red Devils have signed Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred, FC Porto defender Diogo Dalot and English goalkeeper Lee Grant.
