Man United want to sign Hirving Lozano from PSV, according to reports

Manchester United are lining up a £35.4m bid to sign Mexico star Hirving Lozano this summer, according to reports in the Italian media.

Italian outlet Transfer Market Web, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that the Red Devils are keen on a move to bring the Mexican to Old Trafford this summer and are willing to pay €40m to make it happen.

The PSV Eindhoven winger earned lots of praise for his performances for Mexico at this summer’s World Cup in Russia as they reached the last 16 stage.

According to the same story, Manchester United are now lining up a bid to sign him, and they will face competition from the likes of FC Barcelona for his signature.

The 22-year-old scored 19 goals in all competitions last season and assisted 11 more for the Dutch club.

Manchester United are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and assemble a squad of at least challenging for the Premier League title next term.

The Red Devils finished in second place in the Premier League table and without a trophy in Jose Mourinho’s second campaign in charge.
