Paul Pogba won’t leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports News reporter Laura Woods.

The France international has been linked with a potential exit at Old Trafford this summer following a poor 2017-18 campaign.

He made a positive start to the 2017-18 season after two goals and two assists in his opening four games.

However, the France international suffered a serious knee problem to rule him out until November.

Pogba returned to the Manchester United side but struggled as part of a midfield pair alongside Nemanja Matic.

The club record signing received criticism from his manager Jose Mourinho for failing to carry out his defensive duties.

The 25-year-old scored twice in a 3-2 comeback win against derby rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Pogba has been linked with a potential switch to La Liga giants Real Madrid as los Blancos look to revamp their squad under new manager Julen Lopetegui.

However, Sky Sports News reporter Woods doesn’t believe Pogba will exit Manchester United in the current transfer window.

“I don’t think he will leave at all,” Woods told the Transfer Talk podcast.

“I wouldn’t say Pogba is going anywhere.”

Manchester United signed Pogba in a club record £89m deal from Serie A giants Juventus in the 2016 summer transfer window after Sir Alex Ferguson sold the Frenchman to the Serie A giants in an £800,000 deal in 2012.
