Gareth Bale is to hold talks with new Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui about his future at the club as he continues to be linked with a possible move to Manchester United, according to reports.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the Wales international is poised to hold talks with the new man in charge at the Bernabeu before he makes a final decision about his future.

The 28-year-old’s situation has been a big source of speculation this summer after he admitted that he would be considering his future in the wake of the Champions League final.

Manchester United have been credited with an interest in bringing the attacker back to the Premier League this summer.

The same story says that Bale now wants to determine whether he has a future at Real Madrid in the post Cristiano Ronaldo era after the Portugal captain completed his move to Juventus earlier this month.

Both Tottenham and Manchester United have been linked with moves to sign Bale this summer should the attacker decide that he wants a move away from Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have so far brought in three new players this summer after having tied up deals for Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant.
