Man United are keen on a move to sign Toni Kroos from Real Madrid, according to reports
Manchester United have held talks about the possibility of signing Toni Kroos from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet AS, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News, is reporting that the Red Devils are keen on a deal to bring the Real Madrid star to Old Trafford this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
The same report says that Mourinho has recently spoken to executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward about the possibility of bringing the 28-year-old Germany international to the club this summer.
Manchester United are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Mourinho looks to assemble a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
According to the same story, Manchester United are keen on a deal to try and sign Kroos this summer but they are likely to face difficulties in trying to convince Real Madrid to sell him.
Kroos still has four years left to run on his current contract with Real Madrid, and the Spanish club are not thought to be keen on cashing in as things stand.
Meanwhile, Manchester United tied midfielder Marouane Fellaini down to a new contract on Friday.
