Man United could rekindle interest in 29-year-old Brazilian winger – report
Manchester United are looking at a potential deal to sign Chelsea FC winger Willian this summer, according to a report
Manchester United could make another attempt to sign Brazilian forward Willian from their bitter rivals Chelsea FC this summer, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils haven’t shelved plans to sign the Brazil international in the 2018 summer transfer window.
Manchester United have been linked with swoop to sign the 29-year-old on a regular basis over the past 12 months but a deal has failed to materialise so far.
The same article states that the Blues have already rejected a £50m offer from La Liga giants FC Barcelona to sign the South American playmaker last week.
According to the same story, Manchester United could yet put together a package to sign Willian to improve their options in wide areas ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Daily Mail goes on to reveal that Willian is one of a number of players who are unhappy at the prospect of Antonio Conte still being in charge of Chelsea FC next term.
Willian won the Premier League title and the League Cup under current Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho during the Portuguese coach’s second spell in charge at Stamford Bridge.
