The goalkeeper became the Red Devils’ third signing of the summer transfer window when he joined Jose Mourinho’s side from Stoke City at the start of July.
Grant followed both Diogo Dalot and Fred to Old Trafford as Mourinho moved quickly to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
And the veteran shot-stopper has expressed his delight at being able to sign for the Red Devils as he looks to impress his new manager.
Speaking to Manchester United’s website, Grant said: “It’s been a fantastic journey to get me here and I’m certainly looking forward to it.
“I’m looking forward to a nice pre-season, we’ve got our first training session at UCLA so it should be fun.
“I was excited, obviously, and then anxious to get everything over the line and eager to get started. That’s been the case throughout the off-season – I was really eager to get here and get started.”
Manchester United will be aiming to challenge for the Premier League title next season after they finished in second place and without a trophy under Mourinho last term.
Mourinho has been tasked with steering Manchester United to their first Premier League triumph since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
The Red Devils won both the Europa League and League Cup in Mourinho’s first campaign in charge but they ended up without any silverware last term.
Manchester United are likely to still be on the lookout for a number of new signings as Mourinho looks to transform his side into title challengers for next season.
