Real Madrid are lining up a £150m bid to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea FC this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the Spanish giants are now ready to make an official move to try and sign the 27-year-old after having been strongly linked with bid for Hazard for some time.

Hazard’s future has been a relentless source of speculation all summer after Chelsea FC missed out on Champions League qualification following their fifth-placed finish in the Premier League last term.

According to the same report, Real Madrid have singled out Hazard as their top target for this summer’s transfer window after Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to Juventus.

The same story says that the Spanish side are confident of being able to lure the Belgium international to the Bernabeu this summer as they look to bolster their squad ahead of next season.

Hazard will lead Belgium for their World Cup third-place play-off clash against England in Russia on Saturday before beginning his summer holidays.

It seems that the playmaker’s future is set to be a source of speculation once again ahead of the new season.

Chelsea FC finished in fifth place in the Premier League last season and won the FA Cup under Antonio Conte.
