Manchester United won’t sell Real Madrid target Paul Pogba this summer, reporter Laura Woods has claimed.

The Red Devils have been contending with speculation linking the France international with a move to Real Madrid.

Pogba has struggled to find his best form in the Manchester United team since his return to Old Trafford from los Blancos.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been critical of Pogba’s performance in the British media over the past 12 months.

The 25-year-old has been unable to replicate his Juventus form in a Manchester United shirt despite moving in a club record deal.

Sky Sports News reporter Woods believes Pogba will stay put at Manchester United beyond the summer transfer window.

“I don’t think he will leave at all. I wouldn’t say Pogba is going anywhere,” Woods told the Transfer Talk podcast.

Pogba has scored 15 times in 88 games in all competitions since his return to Manchester United from Juventus in an £89m deal.

Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table last term to secure their best finish since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.

The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May following Eden Hazard’s winner.
