Jack Grealish remains keen on a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur from Aston Villa this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the 22-year-old midfielder is still keen on a move to White Hart Lane despite Aston Villa’s recent takeover by Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens.

According to the same story, Grealish is keen on a move to White Hart Lane to pursue his dream of playing in the Champions League with Spurs.

Grealish’s future has been a constant source of speculation this summer after Aston Villa failed to gain promotion to the Premier League.

Now, it is being claimed in the same story that Tottenham are ready to make their first official bid for Grealish this week as Mauricio Pochettino looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.

It is also reported in the same story that Grealish is keen on playing for Pochettino and that he is prepared to “reluctantly” leave his boyhood club.

Tottenham are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they bid to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.
