Garth Crooks is tipping Arsenal to finish in sixth spot in the Premier League this season.
The Gunners ended up outside the top four last season after Arsenal finished in sixth place in Arsene Wenger’s final campaign in charge of the north London side.
Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as their replacement back in May after Wenger left the Gunners following 22 seasons in charge of the Emirates Stadium outfit.
The Gunners lost 2-0 to defending Premier League champions Manchester City in their opener to raise questions about their ability to challenge under Emery this term.
Arsenal made the short trip to Chelsea FC on Saturday evening in search of a first Premier League win.
However, the Blues came out on top thanks to a 3-2 win over Arsenal to leave the Gunners without a point after their opening two Premier League fixtures.
Former Spurs forward Crooks believes Arsenal will finish in sixth spot in the Premier League table.
The Gunners haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04 when Wenger’s men finished the season unbeaten.
Arsenal lost 3-0 to Manchester City in the League Cup final at Wembley last term.
The north London side have finished outside the top four in the Premier League in the last two seasons.
