BBC pundit raves about ‘breathtaking’ Liverpool FC
Garth Crooks heaps praise on Liverpool FC following their fine display in their 4-0 win over West Ham

Garth Crooks has lavished praise on Liverpool FC following their “breathtaking” display in their 4-0 win over West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Reds kicked off the new Premier League season in style by claiming a thumping win over the Hammers at Anfield as they look to lay down the foundations for a genuine title challenge this term.
Goals from Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge, plus two strikes from Sadio Mane, helped to wrap up the three points for the Reds as they made a solid start to the new campaign.
Jurgen Klopp has been tasked with steering Liverpool FC to a genuine Premier League title challenge this season, with the Reds still not having won a trophy since the German’s appointment back in 2015.
Crooks was particularly impressed by Salah’s display and also heaped praise on the attacking display produced by the Reds at Anfield.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Sport, Crooks said: “So normal service is resumed. Salah is running riot at Anfield again.
“It was Salah who led the charge and blasted West Ham off the park during the first half.
“I adore the way Liverpool are playing right now. They take the game to the opposition with such breathtaking speedThere is no sideways nonsense, waiting for sophisticated openings with midfield players doing pirouettes and starving strikers of vital service.
“Liverpool go straight for the jugular and if you survive the savagery, so be it. Wonderful stuff.”
Liverpool FC will return to Premier League action on Monday when they travel to Crystal Palace in the top flight.
The Reds signed Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Alisson Becker in the summer transfer window as Klopp looks to assemble a squad capable of winning the title this term.
