Gary Lineker reflected on crazy London derby clash at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea FC emerged with a 3-2 win over Arsenal thanks to Marcos Alonso’s winner.

The new Chelsea FC boss opted to stick with the same starting XI that eased to a 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town in their Premier League opener last weekend.

The home side continued their momentum as the Blues eased into 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Spanish duo Pedro Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata early in the first half.

However, Arsenal responded through Henrikh Mkhitaryan precise finish before Alex Iwobi fired into the roof of the net before half-time to level the derby encounter.

Spain international Marcos Alonso scored the winner from close range with 10 minutes to go after Eden Hazard and Mateo Kovacic had a big impact from the bench.

Former Spurs striker Lineker delivered his thoughts on a crazy game between the two London sides at Stamford Bridge.

Lineker wrote: “Pub football”

He added: “This is wonderfully, spectacularly, hilariously, woefully brilliant.”

Chelsea FC have won successive Premier League games over Huddersfield Town and Arsenal to make a promising start to Sarri’s reign.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have lost back-to-back fixtures against Manchester City and Chelsea FC in what has been a tough start for Unai Emery.
