Pat Nevin believes Chelsea FC star Eden Hazard is a cut above the rest of his opponents.

The Belgium international has remained at Stamford Bridge beyond the end of the Premier League’s summer transfer window.

Hazard hasn’t started either of Chelsea FC’s opening two Premier League games under new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.

Chelsea FC were 3-2 winners against Arsenal in the London derby at Stamford Bridge to record successive Premier League victories.

Hazard came off the bench to set up Marcos Alonso’s winner in the five-goal thriller in west London outfit.

The Blues forward will hoping to break into Sarri’s starting XI for their trip to Newcastle United at St James’ Park next weekend.

Former Chelsea FC star Nevin was impressed with Hazard’s impact from the bench.

“He has been outstanding,” Nevin told Newstalk.

“It looks like he is playing against kids. It is so easy for him to go by people.

“He looks brilliant in the cameo appearances. It was the difference between winning the game.”

Chelsea FC signed Hazard from Ligue 1 side Lille in the 2012 summer transfer window.

Hazard has won the Premier League title in 2015 and 2017 under two different managers.

The Blues finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last term.
