Sarri has raided his former club to sign Italy international Jorginho in a £57m deal last month.
Veteran goalkeeper Rob Green has also completed a move to Chelsea FC ahead of Thibaut Courtois’ imminent departure.
Former Liverpool FC defender Carragher is refusing to discount Chelsea FC from the title race ahead of the new Premier League season.
“The great thing about Chelsea under Roman Abramovich is whenever you think they have got problems, they are the one club in the top six who can fight back straight away and win a league,” Carragher told Sky Sports.
“When Antonio Conte came in they’d finished 10th and won the league. They can still win trophies when you think they’ve got problems. Chelsea are brilliant – and they have been, no matter who the manager is, at doing transfer deals behind the scenes. It is a brilliantly run club in terms of getting money for players and also in the transfer market.”
The Blues have finished outside the top four in two of the past three seasons.
Chelsea FC are facing speculation surrounding Courtois, Eden Hazard and Willian in the current transfer window.
