Alvaro Morata is aiming to build on his improved form after he helped to fire Chelsea FC to a 3-2 win over Arsenal in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

The Spanish striker netted his first Premier League goal of the season for the Blues as he helped the west London side to claim the three points against the Gunners.

Morata has just begun his second season at Stamford Bridge after having signed for Chelsea FC from Real Madrid last summer.

His first season at Chelsea FC was a mixed one, as he struggled with both form and fitness under Antonio Conte.

However, the 25-year-old is now determined to try and rekindle his best form for the Blues as he bids to hold down a regular spot in the first team under Maurizio Sarri.

Speaking in an interview quoted by Chelsea FC’s website, Morata said: “The last year was very hard for me, not just with confidence.

“The injury [last season] was very bad for me and my head, but when the ball goes into the net everything changes.

“Your mind isn’t blocked anymore and I hope now I can score a lot of goals.”

Chelsea FC are currently in third place in the Premier League table as they look to finish as highly as possible.

The Blues will be aiming to at least break back into the top four this season after they ended up in fifth place and won the FA Cup under Antonio Conte last season.
