Eden Hazard takes to social media to celebrate Chelsea FC's 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Sunday
Eden Hazard has taken to social media to reveal his delight at helping Chelsea FC to claim a dramatic 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Sunday.
Hazard was named as the man of the match as the Belgian playmaker scored a penalty to help the west London side claim all three points against the Magpies.
Chelsea FC’s win at St James’ Park handed them their third straight victory of the new campaign and left them in second place in the Premier League table and level with leaders Liverpool FC.
Hazard’s future was a constant source of speculation in the summer transfer window, with Real Madrid strongly linked with a move to sign the Belgian.
However, it seems as though the 27-year-old is set to stay on at Chelsea FC and it would appear that he is happy with the way the season has been going so far.
Hazard posted the picture montage above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “3 wins out of 3 💪🏻 Tough physical game today, we worked hard!
“Glad to come through 90 mins and get a result. Enjoy bank holiday Monday my UK friends! #chelseafc #premierleague ⚽ 🥅”
Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon when they host Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side ended up in fifth place in the Premier League table and won the FA Cup last season before Antonio Conte’s sacking last month.
