Willian makes admission about Jorginho at Chelsea FC
Willian has his say on Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic's start to life at Chelsea FC
Willian has admitted that he has been hugely impressed by how Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic have adapted to life at Chelsea FC.
Kovacic joined Chelsea FC on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid after Thibaut Courtois moved to the Spanish side from Chelsea FC.
Jorginho, meanwhile, was new manager Maurizio Sarri’s first signing of the summer transfer window after his appointment last month as the midfielder signed for the Blues from Monaco.
Kovacic made his first appearance for Chelsea FC in the 3-2 win over Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Jorginho, meanwhile, has impressed in his first two appearances for the Blues as he helped them to secure back to back wins in their Premier League openers.
And Willian has clearly been impressed by what he has seen from the new pair as they both get used to life under Sarri at their new club.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Willian said: “Everyone has been training well but I would say Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic have been very good. They both bring a lot of quality to the team.”
Chelsea FC will look to make it three wins from their opening three Premier League games on Sunday when they travel to St James’ Park to take on Newcastle United.
The Blues finished fifth and won the FA Cup last season under Antonio Conte.
