The Daily Express is reporting that the Blues are expressing an interest in signing the Wales international, whose future at The Emirates has been a source of speculation this summer.
Ramsey’s current Arsenal contract is due to expire next summer and the Gunners are likely to want to cash in on the midfielder rather than risk losing him for free next year if he is not going to sign a new deal at The Emirates.
The same report says that Liverpool FC are also expressing an interest in landing the midfielder this summer.
According to the same story, new Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri has already accepted defeat in the Blues’ bid to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa this summer.
And the west London side are now exploring other potential midfield options ahead of the transfer deadline next week.
The same article says that Arsenal would be ready to sell Ramsey at the right price in order to fund some of their own transfer ambitions before deadline day.
Chelsea FC will be aiming to try and at least break back into the top four next season after they finished fifth last term.
