Ross Barkley revels in Chelsea FC’s flying start
Ross Barkley has been pleased with how Chelsea FC have started the new season

Ross Barkley has praised his Chelsea FC team-mates for the way in which they have started the new campaign.
The Blues notched up their second straight win of the new campaign on Saturday evening when they claimed a 3-2 victory over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side are currently getting used to life under new manager Maurizio Sarri after the Italian boss’ appointment as Antonio Conte’s successor last month.
Barkley, meanwhile, will be hoping to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge as he looks to enjoy a successful first campaign at the west London club.
The midfielder has started both of Chelsea FC’s Premier League games so far this term and clearly has impressed new boss Sarri with his displays so far.
And the former Everton man admits that he’s been happy with how he has started the new campaign.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Barkley said: “It’s a brilliant start, it was a difficult game against Arsenal but the main thing was to get the three points.
“We’ve started the season really well and got six points from two games. We’re feeling really confident, we’re still learning under the new manager but things are looking positive.”
Chelsea FC are currently in third place in the Premier League table and they will return to top flight action next weekend when they take on Newcastle on Sunday.
The Blues ended up in fifth place in the table and won the FA Cup title last term.
