Chelsea FC midfielder angry about blocked transfer – report
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is not happy about being denied a loan move away from Chelsea FC this summer, say reports
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has reacted angrily to being denied a loan move away from Chelsea FC this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the midfielder wanted to seal another temporary move away from Stamford Bridge this summer after his successful loan spell at Crystal Palace last season.
Loftus-Cheek was rewarded for his solid form last season by being called up to the England squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
According to the same story, Chelsea FC have rejected loan offers for Loftus-Cheek from both Schalke and Monaco this summer – and the midfielder is not happy about being made to stay at the club.
The midfielder has notched up just 22 minutes of first-team football so far this season since Maurizio Sarri’s appointment at Stamford Bridge last month.
Loftus-Cheek will now be looking to focus on impressing the new man in charge at the west London club as he bids to try and help Chelsea FC challenge for the title this season.
Chelsea FC are currently level on points with leaders Liverpool FC as they look to try and make it four wins in a row in the top flight when they host Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
