The Brazilian attacker linked up with Maurizio Sarri’s squad on Saturday after his return to the west London club was delayed due to passport issues.
Willian’s future at Stamford Bridge has been a constant source of speculation this summer, with the attacker having been linked with a move away from the west London club.
The 29-year-old struggled to hold down a regular starting spot in the first team at Chelsea FC last season as the Blues finished fifth in the Premier League under Antonio Conte.
It remains to be seen whether the attacker will be part of Sarri’s first team plans ahead of next season as the Italian manager prepares for his first campaign in charge.
However, Willian himself looked to be in high spirits after linking up with the Chelsea FC squad to begin his pre-season preparations over the weekend.
Chelsea FC finished in fifth place in the Premier League table and won the FA Cup under Conte last term.
They missed out on Champions League qualification to leave them having to settle for Europa League football next season in Sarri’s first campaign in charge.
