Wilfried Zaha has told his Crystal Palace team-mates that he is determined to leave and sign for Chelsea FC this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Ivory Coast international has rejected the offer of a new contract at Selhurst Park in a bid to try and force a move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea FC are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

However, the Blues do not have long to bolster their squad, as the transfer window closes in less than a week’s time on Thursday 9 August.

According to the same story, the 25-year-old attacker is considering handing in a formal transfer request at Crystal Palace in a bid to try and force a move to Chelsea FC before next week’s deadline.

Palace have reportedly offered Zaha a new deal worth £125,000-a-week, but the attacker is now looking to force a move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea FC have been linked with a whole host of players this summer, but so far they have only tied up deals for Jorginho and Rob Green.
